Putting Northern Rail on track to success
Northern Rail provides services that connect thousands of people throughout the region. The company required a relationship with a service partner that would not only help enhance its service quality and National Passenger Survey (NPS) results. Northern Rail also wanted a team that would take responsibility for risks associated with maintenance and repairs.
In November 2006, Northern Rail selected ISS to provide a full facilities and support services solution, servicing 463 stations, 21 additional sites and various offices. Our contract is due for renewal in September 2013, with the possibility of an extension to 2014.
As a one-stop-shop provider of facilities and support services solutions, ISS is helping Northern Rail achieve its goal of providing a reliable and friendly train service. Since the contract commenced, our teams have significantly improved the company's service quality and NPS results. Thanks to our efforts, Northern Rail stations have also won various 'best station' awards.
