Mark Davies, Managing Director

Mark is passionate about great food and service excellence. Since joining ISS in 2005, he has inspired his team to really think about how we can achieve the best possible outcomes for all of our stakeholders, from customers to employees, emphasising the importance of creating excellent dining experiences every day, delivered by skilled and motivated catering professionals. Some of his most notable achievements with ISS include; winning a Food Service CATEY in 2014 and 2017, getting shortlisted for the Public Sector CATEY Award, becoming the contract caterer with the most Food for Life Served Here accreditations in the Education sector and being the leading contract caterer in the industry to successfully embed Professional Standards.

Meet Mark's Team

Eustace is a qualified chartered accountant with 10 years PQE. He developed his food industry experience at a major supermarket chain before joining ISS’ Business & Industry division in the role of Finance Director in 2015. He is now the Finance Director for ISS Food Services in the UK.

Motivated by finding new ways of doing things better, Eustace supports Mark and the Food Services team with cost leadership and commercial business excellence, working with our operations and business development teams to create solutions which are right for our customers. 

Eustace has been integral to much of ISS’ recent success in business and industry catering, driving record profitability and playing a fundamental role in major acquisitions.  

As well as being a husband and dad, Eustace is an avid gym-goer who is passionate about sport and professional development for himself and his team. 
Simon‘s key focuses are to continually evolve food standards across the business whilst actively promoting seasonal and sustainable food offers, motivating the kitchen teams and inspiring them to deliver food to the highest standard. 

Simon oversees a food development team of three chefs to implement all craft based training across the business, as well as assist in the development of food concepts tailored to suit each client’s demands. Also within the team is a marketing and innovation manager and dedicated craft trainer as well.
Steve has spent the last 20 years working in education catering, gaining a wide range of experience across the sector. He joined ISS' Education team in January 2012 and has played an instrumental part in the continued growth and development of the business, through the consistent delivery of wholesome fresh food served in welcoming and engaging environments.

Steve’s key areas of responsibility cover the development and growth of both the business and the people working within his team. He has a strong focus on working in close partnership with our customers to create long term sustainable school meal services.

Tom has over 20 years' experience in the retail catering business, working for the UK’s largest hotel operator and then working within the pub restaurant industry in senior operational roles, He joined ISS in 2012 in the Defence business to support their bars, cafe and leisure programme. Within the next 12 months the role had expanded to providing Service Excellence support across the whole of the public sector business.

Passionate about brands, process and standards, Tom focused his team's energy to deliver better brand standards and support the operational divisions to maximise revenue and profitability. Latterly he has joined the global core catering team as an executive member.

As Sector Director for Retail Food Service, Tom is keen to grow the retail model throughout the UK, introduce more franchise partners and deliver solutions that meet the needs of our different business sectors.
