ISS Announces New Corporate Charity For 2015-2017

ISS Annouces new corporate charity
ISS Facility Services have announced that their new corporate charity for 2015-17 is The Prince’s Trust. The youth charity helps disadvantaged young people get their lives on track. It supports 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in, or leaving care, are facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or have been in trouble with the law.

The partnership with The Prince’s Trust starts in January 2015 and will run for three years until 2017. This follows the completion of a five year partnership with The British Heart Foundation where ISS have raised more than half a million pounds through a variety of fundraising initiatives to support the charity’s lifesaving work.

Martina Milburn, chief executive at The Prince’s Trust, commented, “The Prince’s Trust is absolutely delighted to have been chosen by ISS Facilities Services as their charitable partner for the next three years. We cannot thank them enough for their support which we know will transform the lives of disadvantaged young people for years to come”.

Richard Sykes, CEO ISS UK and Ireland commented, “At ISS, we see the importance of supporting the future generation of potential employees and can be a key player in helping to beat unemployment. As a facility management company, we have a lot to offer young people and the unemployed across a spectrum of competences”.
