ISS to divest ISS Damage Control Limited business - ISS Restoration

ISS, a global leading facility services provider, has entered into an agreement to divest its specialist restoration business, ISS Damage Control Limited (“ISS Restoration”), in the UK.

The divestment is in line with its strategic ambition to simplify its business and strengthening the focus on Key Account customers.  The sale of ISS Restoration to Polygon Group, a global provider of disaster service, will see 95 operational employees and support functions leave the ISS Group.

Steve Mitchell, Managing Director of ISS Damage Control Limited, will continue to lead the business. Steve and his Commercial and Complex & Major Loss team, remain committed to maintaining their world-class customer service to their clients and their policyholders on a business-as-usual basis.

Simon Titchener, Chief Commercial Officer for ISS UK&I, said:

The transaction remains subject to satisfaction of certain conditions precedent customary in a transaction of this nature, including anti-trust approval.
