Corporate responsibility
Sustainable Service Performance
Making efficient and responsible use of natural resources

The evolving challenges brought about by climate change mean that we need to future-proof our business and take steps to reduce our own carbon footprint. We achieved our 2022 reduction target well ahead of time this year due to changes in the structure of our business and will set new challenging targets.

As the expectation on managing and reducing food waste among our customers becomes ever stronger, we have pioneered a new approach to donating food surplus to local charities. We are also bringing a sharper sustainability focus to the good and services we procure, with our new sustainable seafood policy the first of several new policies that make public our commitment to sustainable procurement.

Our ambitions

We have three ambitions within sustainable service performance. Follow the links below for more information on each, case studies and our future plans.
