Corporate responsibility
Health and Safety is a priority at ISS

A safe and healthy workplace

Our aspiration is to commit to take all necessary steps to secure the health and safety of our employees and those affected by our business activities.

We recognise that healthy business performance and a successful future for ISS will be delivered through healthy people, safe processes and safe equipment.

EveryThing, EveryTime, EveryOne – our CAUSE programme
In 2013, we took a significant step forward in strengthening our approach to safety with the launch of the CAUSE programme. The programme uses the concept of 3E’s – EveryThing, EveryTime, EveryOne – to ‘CAUSE’ safety by shifting safety thinking from something that our employees do, to something that they create.

This proactive and creative approach now underpins all elements of our UK safety strategy, helping us deliver our safety targets and embedding a dynamic safety culture across the business.

Our health and safety vision

We believe that safety is a core value to EveryOne in ISS. It is about making sure that in EveryThing we do, we think about ourselves, our colleagues, our clients and others so that we can all return home safely each and EveryTime

Drive to Zero
The CAUSE programme is now critical to our ‘Drive to Zero’ mission. Drive to Zero focuses on and communicates ways to reduce safety risks in our workplace. It is all
about preventing incidents and harm by:

• Striving to operate with Zero fatalities at our workplaces
• Striving to achieve Zero serious incidents and occupational injuries at our workplaces.
