National Australia Bank

Our relationship with National Australia Bank (NAB) was established in 2001 with the award of the contract to cover all technical services across their UK portfolio

We continue to work in partnership with Cushman & Wakefield as Managing Agent across the estate, with a recent contract extension to 2020.

We are currently responsible for both technical and energy management services for over 380 of their high street branches, head office properties and business-critical data centres across the UK.

We have implemented our innovative fabric solution – MMU - across the NAB UK portfolio to simplify branch life.  MMU delivers monthly four hour fabric inspections to each property.  Furthermore, it adds value by identifying and rectifying repairs to any minor non-urgent assets within the property.

This flexible approach allows focus, care and attention to be placed on what matters most.  It allows NAB to focus on the needs of their customers.

The MMU project has led to:

  • an estimated saving of £200,000
  • a 10% reduction in reactive calls

MMU services include:

  • drainage, gutters and DWP
  • flat roof inspections
  • weeding and grass cutting
  • escape route inspection checks
  • gates, fencing, railing and barriers
  • outbuildings
  • external lighting and signage
  • external windows and frames
  • internal and external doors

Key achievements:

In 2007 we assisted NAB in achieving carbon neutrality across their global operations over a three year period.  In the UK, we were chosen to develop, manage and implement their UK energy efficiency strategy and assist them in becoming a UK industry leader in energy management.

ISS Technical Services also managed and assisted NAB with the following:

  • BS EN 16001
  • Top ranking in the 2010 ENDS UK Brand Emissions Leaders index
