Royal Navy pay their respects to Sunborn / Press releases - ISS As part of this year’s Collins Stewart London Boat Show HMS St Albans sailed into Royal Victoria Dock and moored alongside the Sunborn Yacht Hotel.

The Type 23 frigate, which was involved in the evacuation of civilians from war-torn Beirut last July, hosted several high profile receptions, lunches and dinners on behalf of show organisers during the event. She was also open daily to visitors and more than 20,000 were expected to go on board over the ten days.

The London Boat Show is one of the world’s most high-profile boat shows, attracting around 150,000 visitors each year. It is held at ExCel London but there can be no more appropriate place to stay overnight than the Sunborn Yacht Hotel – the world’s first custom built yacht hotel, with its 102 bedrooms looking right over the action. In fact the hotel’s residents could almost believe that they were part of the show itself.

The Sunborn Yacht Hotel is managed and operated by ISS Facility Services. It was voted the Best Hotel for 2005 in the Food and Drink Awards.
