Major Contract Award for ISS Defence
ISS Defence in the UK
(part of ISS Mediclean Ltd) has been awarded a multi-site contract in the South
East of England, with a total value in excess of £100m, to provide a wide range
of services, including:

Services
·
Reception
·
Domestic
Cleaning Services
·
Accounting
Services
·
Catering
and Hospitality
·
Retail
Shop Services
·
Leisure
Services e.g. bars, cafés and entertainment
·
Sub-contract
Management
The
UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) is entering into a partnering agreement for the
provision of these services to a large section of their training
organisation.
Mike Tall, Business Development Director for
ISS Defence, pictured left, said, “This will initially be a 7 year
contract with the potential to extend to 10 years. We shall be providing in
excess of 15,000 meals per day and running several small supermarkets, bars,
cafés and leisure outlets.
The
Surrey
contract will become our Flagship operation and a major proof source for ISS
Defence, as we bid for future business with the MoD.
This
will be a demanding but exciting project for us and the team is looking forward
to the challenges ahead”.
The
contract commences 1st of May 07 and refurbishment plans are well
advanced, in anticipation of a positive start to trading and closer
relationships with senior MoD clients.
