Acquisition Strengthens ISS Waterers Landscape
ISS Waterers Landscape has acquired the
landscape business J V Strong & Co. Ltd, which strengthens ISS’ presence
across the South West of England.
J
V Strong & Co Ltd is based in Devizes, Wiltshire with depots from Exeter
across to Witney, Oxfordshire. The Ministry of Defence and English Heritage are
included in their customer portfolio
When
the acquisition was announced Peter Fane, Managing Director, Route Based
Services Division said, “I am delighted to see J V Strong joining
our Landscape Division. They have a proud reputation in the field of landscape
management and I am confident that the operation will fit in well with the rest
of our business.”
With
almost 75% of their business in the Public Sector, J V Strong is a healthy fit
for ISS Waterers Landscape. They also have a significant fencing business, which
extends the ISS offer into this particular market.
This
acquisition has also pushed the ISS landscaping business past an important
milestone. The combined turnover of their new and existing business in now in
excess of £50m, which certainly places ISS Waterers Landscape at the top of
their market place, both in terms of turnover, but more importantly in the
ability to provide quality services.
