ISS Damage Control Recovery Plan

  • One of Europe’s largest ever disaster restoration projects bringing a multi million pound saving in business interruption and equipment renewal.
  • Full restoration village containing workshops, offices, warehouses and welfare facilities was erected on site within 48 hours
  • Within a week ISS Damage Control brought in 124 technicians and electrical and mechanical engineers from Damage Control branches across Europe.
  • Due to the urgent nature of the restoration a 737 aircraft was leased in conjunction with Lufthansa to transfer 82 engineers to the site.
