- Restoration project bringing in excess of a million pound saving in
business interruption and equipment renewal.
- Temporary offices and welfare facilities was erected on site within 36
hours
- The restoration was undertaken by a 20 strong team of trained technicians,
comprising of electrical engineers, IT engineers and structural restoration
technicians. Above ceiling decontamination was undertaken, out of hours,
utilising our in-house rope access division.
Benefits
- However, there was still a major contamination problem within the ceiling
void area above the main retail floor. As the store had re-opened and did not
want to cease trading, all the remaining remedial work was undertaken by our
rope access team, following closure of the store on an evening. The store was
handed back in a trading condition one hour before opening the following
morning. The general public completely unaware of the scale of operation that
was taking place overnight.
- ISS demonstrated that by experience and working closely with the client
and their agents, the client returned to normal business trading in the
shortest possible time with the minimum disruption ensuring that customer
loyalty are retained with a minimum loss of trading
profit.
