ISS Academy was established in 2005 under the auspices of ISS University with the purpose of leveraging ISS best practice in operations and offer it across the Group. The Academy depends on corporate as well as local concepts for its work. Whereas ISS University typically caters to the higher management layers, ISS Academy is intended to reach a much wider audience through a local train-the-trainer approach.

The first initiative under the Academy has been an Integrated Facility Services Academy. Managers from more than 20 countries have been involved in functional training to support sales, calculation, transition, operations and IT related to complex Integrated Facility Services contracts.
